Want to lead a Connect Group?

  Whether you're interested in leading a study, starting a recreation group to get to know people through an activity, have a particular passion for a ministry of support, or want to go long term and build a life group - we need you!  Let us know what you're thinking about and we'll contact you to discuss what it looks like and how to move forward.

Ladies Bible Study
 Jamie Sarver will be leading a group of ladies through a study beginning Monday, August 14, 2023. This group will meet every other Monday morning from 10a -12p at 7107 Stock Road in West Alexandria.  There are ladies ranging from 40 to 70 years old involved and they are looking for a few more gals to join their group.
The book that you will need to purchase for this group is called, When You Pray, A Study of Six Prayers in the Bible.
You and Me Forever
Rick and Jan Petersen would like to invite you to join this seven-session Bible study series, based on the book You and Me Forever from best-selling author Francis Chan and Lisa Chan, will challenge you to view your marriage like never before. These seven inspiring videos will help you dive deeper into the book's content, and discover more about God's purposes for marriage and how marriage brings Him glory. Open to married couples from any COF campus. Group is limited to six couples, but will be repeated as needed. Please purchase the book, available on Amazon. Read the introduction and first chapter prior to Sept. 3, 2023, we'll watch the videos together. The Ladies
Calling ladies of all ages (18+ ) looking to join a small group! Maria Owens will lead a group on Saturdays beginning September 16th from 10a-12p at their home on 4634 N. Clayton Rd, Brookville, OH 45309. The first study will be from Right Now Media Studying Exodus 1-3 (No purchase or book necessary) on Searching for a Life that Matters: What Moses Teaches Us About Joining the Mission of God by Stephanie Beaulieu. Come enjoy some coffee, tea and refreshments while connecting as we go through this study together!
Roots Class
If you are a new believer, new to our church, or desiring to establish the foundations of Christianity, this class is for you. Starting September 17th,  Tim Tudor and Dave & Cindy Summers will lead this class on Sundays, 9:30am at the COF Youth Building with childcare provided at the church. We look forward to getting to know you as we explore the basics of biblical Christianity and answer any questions you may have about COF Church. 
Men's Bible Study
Dave Summers is leading a Men's Bible Study at the Gray House in Lewisburg every Saturday morning at 8:00 AM.  The men are currently studying the book of Matthew, making friends, sharing hurts and victories, working on accountability, and enjoying breakfast!  Please sign up to join!
Taking Jesus With You
Taking Jesus to your family, workplace, and the street. Sharing your faith is one of the most exciting, gratifying things that happens in a Christian’s life. Do you want to gain boldness and confidence in this area? Make some new friends and have great fellowship while learning? Then you’ll want to attend this 6 week training session hosted by Paul and Wilma Brubaker. Study material will be provided. Please sign up and starting date and place will be determined.

Woven
Woven will be hosted by Brenda Tudor.  This group will be meeting the 2nd Saturday of every month to create opportunities for women to connect in Christ and Community.  
Homeschool Field Trip Group 
 Kaylee Lebo and Jessica Carranza are hosting a Homeschool Field Trip Group on the fourth Friday of the month. Even though this is primarily a social group many of the activities will be educational in nature. Meeting times will vary depending on the field trip. We are excited to gather as a Homeschool Community. After signing up here you will receive a link from us to an App that will give more information for each of our events.
Grief Share
Are you interested in a 13-week video-based grief support group? This group is designed for anyone grieving the death of a friend or loved one regardless of where you are in the grief process. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve entered this journey recently or a while ago we want to walk with you through it. Sign up here for our current community group cycle: September 13 - December 6. Beyond Bible Study
Ladies, Brenda Tudor and Vickie Woodyard  would like to invite you to share in a time of food, fellowship, and following Jesus. We are currently studying the book of James. We gather the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30. The 1st and 3rd we will meet at the Gray House and the 5th Tuesday location will be offsite and determined at the previous meeting.
Open Your Bible
Whether you are a seasoned Bible reader or struggle to understand Scripture, Open Your Bible will leave you with a greater appreciation for the Word of God, a deeper understanding of its authority, and a stronger desire to know the Bible inside and out. Cindy Summers will lead this 7-session workbook-based Bible study for ladies of all ages, meeting bi-weekly beginning August 29 at the gray house beside the Lewisburg church, 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The workbook (Open Your Bible by Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams) can be purchased on Amazon or at Lifeway.com.
