At SEU @ Community of Faith Churches, you will have the opportunity to build your spiritual foundation, to develop as a leader, and to be immersed in a community of people who are committed to seeing you walk in your God-given purpose, all while earning your college degree. 
WHY SEU @ COMMUNITY OF FAITH CHURCHES?
ACADEMIC
  • Earn your online degree from an affordable and accredited Christian university. 
  • Utilize Community of Faith's space to complete coursework.
  • Obtain 3 credit hours each semester by completing SEU's Practicum Course and receiving practical ministry training alongside the Community of Faith staff.  

SPIRITUAL
  • Join us for morning prayer in the church a couple mornings each week. 
  • Attend and participate in our Sunday morning worship experience and Community Young Adults gatherings (both services and community groups). 
  • Be a part of our internship classes with Community of Faith's pastors and leaders on Thursday mornings. 
  • Receive the opportunity for individual mentoring through your walk with Jesus.

LEADERSHIP 
  • Develop as a leader with training from Community of Faith’s leaders.
  • Put leadership principles into practice through practical ministry training. 

RELATIONAL
  • Be immersed in a life-giving community. 
  • Participate in student-led 'Team Time' and 'Team Coffee' each week. 
ABOUT SEU
Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida partners with Community of Faith Churches to offer students an affordable, accredited*, Christ-centered educational experience. With flexible class options and hands-on learning opportunities, Southeastern University provides students with a pathway to discover and develop their divine design.
PRACTICUM EXPERIENCE
You will have the opportunity each semester to enroll in a 3 credit hour practicum course, receiving practical ministry training alongside our staff at Community of Faith. This will be approximately 8-10 hours each week. 

There is no cost for practicum courses through Southeastern University. If you complete your entire degree through SEU @ Community of Faith, you can earn up to 24 free credit hours of practical ministry training.

APPLICATION PROCESS
There is an application process first through Community of Faith. Once accepted through Community of Faith, students will apply to Southeastern University.

1. Fill out SEU @ Community of Faith Churches interest form. This is not a requirement for the application process but is a great tool to initiate conversation with us regarding your college experience through SEU @ COF. 
2. Fill out the SEU @ Community of Faith online application.
3. Meet with SEU @ COF's Site Director. This may also include another staff member.
4. When the application process above is successfully completed, the Site Director will invite the applicant to join us as a student of SEU @ Community of Faith. If the application is declined, the Site Director will communication the decision to the applicant.
5. Once the applicant is accepted through Community of Faith, he/she will apply to Southeastern University.  

SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY ACCREDITATION
Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. WEEKLY STRUCTURE
There is opportunity for students to be on site up to 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) outside of Sunday mornings. Generally, practicum hours can be completed within the following time periods: Tuesday-Thursday afternoons, Tuesday evenings (CYA), and Sunday mornings.

Outside of practicum hours, students have the opportunity for:
- Coursework/Study Hall Hours
- Prayer
- Classes with Pastors
- Student-Led Team Time
- Leadership & Character Development
